The painting. Cypher is a light grey field crossed by white lines, with black and blue marks and small symbols spread across it. Near the bottom, a grid of yellow and pink squares appears in perspective, like a lit floor or a stage, and it gives the floating marks above it something to stand on.
Where it works. The light grey and small accents of colour suit minimalist living rooms, offices and studies. It works with white walls, pale wood and black metal, and the yellow and pink grid ties in with a single coloured cushion or chair.
Choosing a size. The true-scale size guide (the last photo on this page) shows a range of sizes above a large sofa, with a person for reference. The light palette benefits from size: above a sofa or bed, one of the two largest sizes works well, provided your ceiling is high enough for the largest (its measurements are in the size options). A smaller size suits a desk wall or a hallway.
Format. A portrait canvas in a 3:4 shape, from a small accent size up to a statement piece.
