The painting. Parlor is a packed room of people. Figures, some in top hats, crowd across the wide canvas, and pink, green, grey, orange and black shapes overlap so densely that faces appear wherever you look. Paint drips run down through the middle, adding to the sense of a busy, noisy evening.
Where it works. It feels made for social spaces: a dining room, a living room where people gather, a bar area or a kitchen-diner. Its mix of colours means it doesn't need to match anything specific, and it works on white, dark green or charcoal walls alike.
Choosing a size. The true-scale size guide (the last photo on this page) shows a range of sizes above a large sofa, with a person for reference. Dense paintings need size for their details to read, so for a sofa or a long dining wall one of the two largest sizes is the better choice, and the largest covers most of a large sofa's width. A mid size suits a bar cart or a smaller wall that you see from close up. Every available size, with its exact measurements, is listed in the size options.
Format. A landscape canvas in a 5:4 shape, from a small accent size up to a statement piece.
