Repose on paper. Here the patchwork reads like a framed collage. It's printed as a giclée on heavyweight archival matte paper with a soft, fine-grain finish, so the red, yellow, green and blue blocks and the checkered band have a soft, even surface with no shine.

Framing. Choose it unframed, or in a handmade Italian wooden frame (black, dark oak, natural oak or white) with plexiglass glazing. An optional mount (passepartout) is also available. With so much colour in the image, a mount and a white or natural oak frame give it room to breathe, while dark oak warms it up.

Choosing a size. The true-scale size guide (the last photo on this page) shows each paper size to scale above a large sofa. The largest holds the wall above a sofa or bed on its own. The middle size suits a dining sideboard, a console or a chest of drawers, and the smallest a hallway, a landing or a kitchen wall. The size options list the exact measurements.
